What business has a Drow, a Human, a Half-Orc, Dragonborn and two Tieflings, riding a stolen Kobold cart through the woods, pulled by two giant weasels?

From the North

Salris and Tula are traveling alone; they meet on the road from Riverbend to Hillthorpe. Or, rather, she overtakes him, casting a shadow over him. He turns over his shoulder to see what's shadowing him, and sees a 6'5" Amazonian woman

"Oh, oh. How are you doing there?" he asks.

Tula sees a completely unarmed tiefling. (He's got concealed daggers.) "I'm doing well, for I walk in the light of my God."

He asks where she's going. The road goes west and east, and she's not headed east, she says. Salris is very intimidated by her height and zealous faith. He introduces himself, offers a traveling companion. She says she does not need a companion, for she travels always in the companionship of her Lord.

But she would have another companion. They clap forearms, and continue.

From the South

Jerry and Ryltar meet on the boat down to Riverbend, and talk about stuff. Ryltar has left the oppressive matriarchies of the Drow Under-dark to travel the world and learn more of it. He found that women's sole control of familial advancement in the Under-dark was stifling. Jerry remarks that in her experience, all-woman households work quite well; Jerry and her wife share the family control equally. Indeed, Jerry is going to West Haven to check in on her eldest daughter, who has a position as a governess in a noble household.

The Drow and the Half-orc travel down the river in amiable companionship, getting off the river barge when it docks at Riverbend.

Salris, Tula, Jerry and Ryltar all appear to be headed for West haven, and follow signs and guides to the outskirts of town. There's a caravan teaming up to go west to Hillthorpe, and then to West Haven.

Jerry and Tula are taller than the two men, and they notice each other's military bearing with nods of respect. Salris mildly insults Ryltar by calling him a weird elf; Tula says that all Drow worship the Spider Queen. Ryltar does not.

From the West

Bugfood and Vurguron meet on the road from West Haven to Hillthorpe. Vurguron is really young, really enthusiastic about going on adventures, and Bugfood does not understand why Vurguron would live in a metal shell. Vurguron is the first jackoff that Bugfood met after walking out of the woods. They arrive at the small town of Hillthorpe.

Bugfood and Vurguron enter Hillthorpe and enter the Wayward Inn. They hear a large gathering of people in the great hall, up at the top of the hill of town. Bugfood tells Vurguron about this, walks out of the scene towards the great hall, and looks through the door. Vurguron follows.

The great Hall of Hillthorpe is the center of the community, with a vast open space with scattered tables and chairs. There's a shallow bar with a kitchen and a stew pot, and there's a small stage with musicians playing background music. The food is a communal thing, it looks like. Bugfood gets in line for a bowl because he's hungry.

Vurguron stands, entranced by the music, watching the movement of the crowd in the hall.

The caravan from Riverbend washes up on the shore of Hillthorpe, and these four travelers follow the same path as the previous two followed, up to the great hall of Hillthorpe.

In Hillthorpe

Next to the stage in the great hall, a small gathering of people builds around the community bulletin board, discussing something on the bulletin board. A half-elf welcomes the newcomers.

Salris tosses down a gold for beef stew, bread, and ale until it'll run out. A server tells him that there's mead available. Bugfood draws a scene by being afraid of metal coinage; a crowd gathers around him. Vurguron wears armor. Tula wears armor. Salris wears armor. Bugfood the Druid is freaked out by the metal content of the local armor population.

He tries to flee; Salris grabs him and holds him, asks him what his problem is. "I have so many problems."

Salris lets Bugfood go. Bugfood, by way of explaining his problems, says that he is on a quest to find an astronomer. Ryltar says that the West Haven is probably the best place to find one. Salris agrees.

Tula sees the bulletin board; notable items are that the Woven Council are looking for recruits and a farmer wants to hire someone to drive off the wolves.

Bugfood smells to high heaven, and is covered in bundles of drying herbs.

Vurguron walks up to the bulletin board, draws his sword, and points it at the offering of the person who wants to get their plates repaired. "I shall help this man repair his plates!" he cries.

A black-haired woman claps a hand on his shoulder and disapprovingly says, "There have been no battles here in many years." He sheathes his sword, then calls out across the room for Farngrim, offering his assistance in Farngrim's quest.

Tula eyeballs Jerry, eyeballs Vurguron, and gestures to Jerry that Vurguron would only last 4 battles. Jerry is eh on the proposition. Tula implies that perhaps the guess was generous. Jerry doesn't like this line of speculation, and cuts it off.

The black-haired woman climbs onto the stage, silences, the room and begins a speech. She's the mayor; she thanks the stew's cook and the mead's brewer. Those observant few notice the mayor pause during her normal state-of-the-town address to stare at the back of the hall.

A thin girl sneaks into the hall, and slides around the edges up onto the stage. The mayor stops talking, talks to this new arrival for a moment. She turns to the community, worriedly saying, "Kan is missing." She details the leaders of the search parties. The Party is left standing alone in the hall as it empties.

The quest!

Jerry asks the mayor who or what Kan is; Kan is the mayor's son. Jerry decides for the party that the Party will be another search party. Kan disappeared from near the West Gate, without sign. Kan is 7 years old, likes to climb, carries a teddy bear. It's not like Kan to run off; he's only been out of town a couple times to the West Haven.

Vurguron follows Farngrim in the direction of the West Gate, because he still wants to talk to Farngrim about the broken plate quest. The Party is about 60 feet behind. Farngrim enters a barn, hooks a horse to a wagon, picks up a few people. "I wanted to talk to you about the plates," said Vurguron. "Now's not the time! Forget about my plates for now." The Party catches up. Farngrim tells us some facts about Kan, and is surprised that despite having come in with the caravan there's

Bugfood looks around the town, identifies the mayor's house by deduction, and leads the party to the mayor's house because maybe the kid went home. We see the same mousy woman who talked to the mayor, sneaking around the wall of the mayor's house, and she and Bugfood surprise each other. He asks what she's doing here, rather than looking for Kan. We intimidate her into telling more info. Kan was climbing the wall outside the gate when this woman, Mora, left him to go collect lunch. When she came back, he was missing.

Jerry sees small footprints, a scuffle in the dirt outside the wall, with clawed footprints, and three thick clawed footprints. It looks kind of like the kid was pulled off the wall. They're not wolf footprints. They look similar to Vurguron's lizard-folk footprints, but smaller. Akin to Kobolds, but the one clear print next to the wall. The trail of prints go off into the plains to the northwest.

In the direction of the northwest

The Party moves into the plains of the Northwest. The tracks carve a path through the wheat fields, and enter a copse of light forest. Jerry sees that the party we're tracking is about seven, not including the child. We continue into the forest.

Ryltar is most perceptive of the Party, and sees a collection of Kobolds around us.

Round 1: Surprise!
1. Green Kobold runs up to Jerry and slices her with a dagger.
2. Ryltar ducks behind a tree, staying within 60 feet of Black Kobold, firing a Ray of Frost at it with disadvantage under the noontime sun, killing the Kobold outright.
3. Salris is surprised.
4. Vurguron is surprised.
5. Tula is surprised.
6. White Kobold fires a slingstone at Jerry for no effect.
7. Jerry is surprised.
8. Bugfood is surprised.
9. Red Kobold flies up 30 feet, and then flies to over Jerry.
Round 2
1. Green Kobold attacks Jerry with the dagger.
2. Ryltar pops out from behind his tree to see the flying Red Kobold, and casts Witch Bolt but misses that Kobold.
3. Salris casts Arms of Hadar to damage the Green and Red Kobolds, and Jerry and Tula.
4. Vurguron uses his fiery breath weapon against the flying Red Kobold, who takes half damage with a passed Dexterity save. Red Kobold still flies.
5. White Kobold shoots a slingstone at Salris, but misses.
6. Tula uses her greatsword and flanking to miss the Green Kobold.
7. Jerry halves the Green Kobold with her glaive, and then runs behind Ryltar.
8. Bugfood casts Frostbite on the winged Red Kobold, freezing it solid, dropping it from the air, killing it.
Round 3
1. Ryltar casts Ray of Frost but barely misses the remaining Kobold, splatting against a tree.
2. Salris' Eldritch Blast misses.
3. Vurguron move sup to the White Kobold, swings with his longsword, and decapitates the White Kobold.

Bugfood heals Jerry with 10 Goodberries. We loot the Kobold bodies; Jerry gains a sling.

The tracks still lead us down the path. Bugfood continues shouting "Khan? Kan? Kane?"

The path leads us to a small clearing with two carts, each with two giant weasels as the mounts. Bugfood shouts "Kan?" just as we enter. One weasel immediately takes off, pulled a cart with Kobolds and Kan. Ryltar freezes one wheel well of the cart, not slowing it at all. Salris hits the weasel with Eldritch Blast for one point of damage.

Round 1
1. Vurguron, from the back of the traveling order, runs up and jumps onto the cart.
2. Green Giant Weasel stays where it is.
3. Bugfood casts Fairy Fire on the cart, outlining the cart, the two Kobolds, the weasels, and Vurguron in violet light. Enemies have advantage on attacks against them. Then Bugfood moves behind cover.
4. Tula moves up to White Kobold, but in her haste to dash up is unable to attack
5. Salris Eldritch Blasts a Kobold.
6. Ryltar Ray of Frosts the black Kobold for minimal damage.
7. Jerry waltzes up to the Black Kobold and slices it in half.
8. White Kobold moves up to the head of the cart, provoking an attack of opportunity from Tula, who kills the Kobold.

We all get on the cart. Tula, who has proficiency in land vehicles, takes shotgun. Jerry with proficiency in land vehicles takes the reins, soothes the weasels, and we're off.

The chase scene

The Kobolds' cart has a 2-round head start, and the weasels have 50-feet move. They weasels are 100 feet ahead. There's a fork in the road; the road to the right has a cloud of dust and movement. We go right, across the bridge, and at the end of the round of movement they're just around the corner. Ryltar fires a Ray of Frost at the closer weasel but misses; Salris Eldritch Blasts the driver and kills it. Another Kobold takes the reins. Bugfood Frostbites the replacement driver for a little damage.

The cart we have caught up has an armored Kobold with armor covered in glass bottles. The Kobold throws a flaming bottle, which bursts and spreads a poisoned cloud over our cart. Both our weasels start coughing. Ryltar starts coughing. They're all poisoned and the area is heavily obscured. The Kobold's cart is slightly damaged.

At the start of the turn, Tula and Salris also inhale poison. Our cart catches up to the Kobold's cart. Salris hits the driving Kobold with Eldritch Blast, downing it. The armored Kobold takes the reins. That Kobold is the only Kobold left on the cart. Bugfood throws a fireball at the driver, doing some fire damage to it. Ryltar Ray of Frosts one of the weasels. Vurguron jumps into the Kobold's cart, with a 15 Athletics, and lands in the other cart. Vurguron grabs Kan, whose head sticks out of a burlap bag, saying "Kan, I'm here to rescue you!" with a natural 1 on his Charisma roll. Kan screams through the gag! He had been kidnapped by small dragon people, and now a larger dragon has grabbed him!

The Kobold cart moves 40 feet forward. We catch up again. Vurguron, Bugfood, and Tula see ahead on the road the entrance to a cave in a cliff face, with three flying Kobolds above it. Bugfood tries to jam his quarterstaff into the staff's rear wheel, but fails. Salris Eldritch Blasts the driving armored Kobold for max damage, but it's still up, and Ryltar misses a Ray of Frost attack. Vurguron grabs the bagged Kan, and just barely succeeds in grabbing the squirming kid. (That's a 1+4=5 to grapple a kid who's rolled a 2 with disadvantage.)

The winged Kobolds drop large rocks on the Kobold's cart, missing the driver. Two hit Vurguron, whose body is shielding Kan, dealing 13 damage, downing Vurguron. Vurguron falls off the back of the cart. Kan remains on the cart.

Because Vurguron has fallen off the cart, he automatically fails the first death save.

Round 1
1. Red Kobold picks up a large rock and holds it.
2. White Kobold picks up a large rock and holds it.
3. Black Kobold picks up a large rock and holds it.
4. Vurguron fails his second death save.
5. Bugfood bails off the wagon, falling gracelessly and landing prone. He stands up, moves around the cart, and uses Minor Illusion to create the sound of an army, with beating drums imitating footfalls and drums. One of the Kobolds is momentarily shaken, before being brought back to reality by the other two.
6. Tula throws a javelin at the White Kobold, killing it and dropping its rock.
7. Salris Eldritch Blasts the Black Kobold and kills it.
8. Jerry careens the cart and weasels to a stop, just short of Vurguron, horizontally across the mouth of the cave.
Round 2
1. Red Kobold holds his rock.
2. Vurguron passes a death save and stabilizes.
3. Bugfood advances to within range and Produce Flames and throws that at Red Kobold, hitting him and flaming an arm.
4. Tula Lay on Hands Vurguron for 5 HP, reviving him.
5. Salris Eldritch Blasts Red Kobold and kills him.

But Kan has gone into the cave with the cart and the armored driver.

Tula is in favor of rushing into the cave; Jerry is opposed. But Tula knows that Kobolds prey on food immediately, where they've kidnapped Kan. That's not usual. But Tula advocates for going in immediately. Ryltar says that if the kids had wanted to eat, they would've eaten him immediately. Tula, Ryltar, and Salris are still poisoned; now only Salris is poisoned.

We look around the cart: there's a pile of coins worth 2 gold, 3 silver, 53 copper. And there's a stash of little ceramic pots with dark green ointment. Vurguron applies the ointment on himself, healing for 10 HP, ceasing to be poisoned, and healing of any disease. There are three doses remaining, which Vurguron picks up. Ryltar thinks that Salris' poisoning isn't that serious; it only affects Salris as badly as Ryltar is affected by the sun.

The Kobolds' Cave

The Party enters the cave. 40 feet in, the cave narrows to single-file. Off to the left is an opening to a kennel, with more giant weasels, and the cart, but there's no sign of Kan. The kennels are well-kept and clean, with no droppings, and three weasels total. Two empty stalls.

Bugfood opens the kennels, freeing the weasels, gives them a ration from his thing. "Be free, little guys! Fight with us for your freedom!" He directs them out of the cave.

We proceed down the single-file narrow corridor. Bugfood has a handful of Produce Fire. Jerry sees a light in front of us. Bugfood casts Minor Illusion to create the sound of a large angry crowd, augmented by Salris' own Minor Illusion, complete with torches and pitchforks. Bugfood shouts, "Give us back Kan and you can live!" We see light ahead, bouncing off a curved wall. We hear echoing chatter of Kobolds. At Ryltar's prompting, Vurguron pipes up to say that the Kobolds are saying that "they're coming! They're coming!" Vurguron says instead that the Kobolds want Salris' head.

So we proceed, 40 feet forward to where the corridor opens wide. We enter the room.

Round 1.
1. Jerry is surprised by two Kobolds, on on either side of her, stabbing.
2. The first one misses.
3. Salris is surprised.
4. The second Kobold's stab glances off Jerry's scale armor.
5. Ryltar is surprised.
6. Vurguron is surprised.
7. Tula is surprised.
Round 2
1. Jerry skewers the left Kobold. Then steps behind the other Kobold, brandishing the skewered Kobold, and asking the other, "Where is the human child?" but the Kobold is not intimidated. "Eeeh!" it replies.
2. Salris pushes past Ryltar, and stabs it twice, killing it.

We're in a 20x20 circular room, with some beds and a small fire. There's a door to the back left, to the front left, front right, and the door we came in. The room stinks, and we find nothing of value with really bad investigation skills. There's some ratty robes. The doors aren't labeled. The footprints of the Kobolds go to all three doors, but there's drag marks near the front right door. Bugfood checks it for tracks and sees none with his 6 on a perception check.

Tula walks into that doorway, with a 7 on her Dexterity save, she trips over a rock. We go down the hallway.

Vurguron screams "Keogtum!" down the hallway; the shout echoes back. It's the name on the ointment jars.

Ryltar asks what that was about; Vurguron explains that we want Keogtum's head.

Bugfood goes first, Ryltar and Jerry following. We slowly descend. There's a really rotten smell down there, gut-wrenchingly rotten. Bugfood is okay with the smell, but Ryltar is new to it. The corridor ends in a 10x10 room with lidded wooden boxes. Bugfood prepares a flameball to throw at whatever is in the box; Ryltar opens the first box with Mage Hand. Bugfood throws the flame in; it bounces off the wall and falls in. Bugfood creates a Minor Illusion of his head looking into the box. Nothing happens. Bugfood turns to Vurguron saying, "Vurguron, you have a way with kids, you should look in."

Salris opens all the other boxes. Flies come out of the last one. It's full of shit. The boxes are toilets.

Salris says that he fucking hates all of us. Bugfood says it smells like food.

We return up the tunnel to the room. There's the front left and back left. One goes up, one goes down slightly. Jerry thinks we should go up, towards the cliff face. Tula and Bugfood feel a cold breeze blow in from the tunnel we came in from. It's now nighttime outside. But the rest of the party thinks we should go down, so we go down.

We come to a fork in the path. There's writing on the wall in Draconic; Jerry asks Vurguron what it says. It's a symbol. Tula's Divine Sense senses no fey, fiend, or undead.

Between our various religion, arcana, history, and other, we know that the X with a line is bad, and X with a slash is good. We go down the slashed line path.

We weave down a narrow passageway. It's getting late in our sleep period. We go back up to the bedroom and take watches.

Bugfood takes first watch, nothing happens other than the cool night breezes.
Salris takes second watch, nothing happens.
Ryltar takes third and fourth watches, and nothing happens.

The end of the first long rest.

We level up.

Next Session

We're in a Kobold cave, looking for Kan, about a day's travel northwest of Hillthorpe. Bonus question: Where's Kan's teddy bear?
Jerry wants to get to West Haven to meet up with her daughter.
Bugfood wants to find an astronomer, at Ryltar's advice.

There may be a connection between the prophesied stars and her fractured self.

Apr 27, 2024	The Hundred and First Session	We discover the false priest, and a plot to open a portal with obsidian pumice "wrenches". This comes to a head at the Umberlee service, as the false priest summons a shoggoth. We kill th false priest and the shoggoth, placate Umberlee, and then close the portal.
Mar 30, 2024	The Hundredth Session	After extensive planning, we search around and find the location of the Thieves' Guild base, and throw out the plans. Bugfood's sister Miranda is extracted from her cell, and then we roll Plan A: Percival the Stoat Seller. This allows us to bypass a couple of fights, and cut direct to the Big Bad fight against the entire Thieves' Guild, whom we splatter across their underground lair.

Feb 17, 2024	The Ninety-Eighth Session	Having teleported to the area near Maymoor, the Party sets out to find Bugfood. Finding him, the Party then sets out to find Miranda. We enter an underground base of some sort, kill some Thieves, and are flushed out when they flood the base. We did not find Miranda, but we did capture a Thief, who gives us directions to where 'The Brigade' can be found.
Feb 3, 2024	The Ninety-Seventh Session	We learn of the history of the Dereshars' curse, and upset the crew of the Nightmare. Then we sink the ship and return to Quadroads, where we revive Seamus and prepare to go save Bugfood.

Jan 6, 2024	The Ninety-Fifth Session	Some retconning happens; we pick up some other plot threads. Belladonna still attacks Quadroads; we still brief the Ascendants. Then we go to Dirius' talk and learn of Dirius' upcoming expedition to the First Library in the Red Wastes. Percival's father sends a message. Jerry dreams of Bugfood.
Nov 11, 2023	The Ninety-Fourth Session	We go to tackle the little ghost, which turns out to be Belladonna. Oops. She's partially freed now. So we go off to find Salris, and aid him in his situation at Viper Cove.
Oct 14, 2023	The Ninety-Third Session	Shopping in Quadroads, and we plan improvements to the Regular Inn. We gain access to the Teleportation Circles of the Temple of Ioun, and check in with Moon. We gain audience with the Ascendants tomorrow. Thrai is happy to hear that we've done some stuff, but now she needs us to deal with a spectre. And Bugfood leaves us a message about Salris.

Sep 16, 2023	The Ninety-First Session	We return to Sky Diamond and learn some things about Belladonna: she caused the Divergence. Then we go to the pyramid, learn of the Quadroads mission to explore it, and enter ourselves. It's a small little pyramid, but it's also hard to get into without dying. We defeat the first floor, and find the second.
Sep 2, 2023	The Ninetieth Session	We fight the Mummy Lord Degrazil at Lanthet, and almost kill him, but fail to prevent him from taking Kerjes' body back to his Lady, Mistress Silra Edenair, also known as Belladonna.
Aug 19, 2023	The Eighty-Ninth Session	Having finished our goals in the Yuan-Ti temple, we teleport to Sky Diamond Academy. Guy catches us up on the nature of the stars: they represent items made with Fey Seeds. We have 3 of 6, maybe? Also the divination professor at SDA is a fraud, it seems, but for a bard he's really good at teaching divination. We're responsible for his upcoming disciplinary hearing.

Mar 18, 2023	The Eighty-First Session	We find Ren's body, which is mostly scraps. We then find the portal, and manage to close it. Jerry is a Giant Ape now.
Feb 18, 2023	The Eightieth Session	Lanthet is beseiged. We set out to lift the siege by closing the demon portal, which might be in the governor's mansion. After a quick treck through the sewers, and encounters with The Lost Boys and a Sewer Sarlaac, we enter the governor's mansion and kill the Marilith, since she happens to be there. And then we scamper off into the sewers again.
Feb 4, 2023	The Seventy-Ninth Session	We arrive in Lanthet, and discover a city beset by demons. Entering the city, we sneak arounduntil we locate Jerry's family in a beseiged temple. After breaking the siege, we escort the trapped people to a more-defensible location. Kerjes returns, notices our presence, and demands our heads by tomorrow. Kerjes was wounded, and Ren's sacrifice damages her again.
Jan 21, 2023	The Seventy-Eighth Session	The Party departs the Forest with borrowed gear, and arrives in Setton. We kill a Rakshasa that was impersonating Ryltar's girlfriend, but lose the girlfriend. After restocking,we travel to Ren, who tells us that Kerjes is on the move, headed to Jerry's hometown.
Jan 7, 2023	The Seventy-Seventh Session	The Party is captured by the Yuan-Ti. Jerry goes John McClane. The Captain of the Verdant Guard is revealed as an agent of Kerjes. Ryltar rescues the Party with Dimension Door. We set off in search of new equipment, reassurance that Kerjes will not go after Jerry's family, and revenge upon the Yuan-Ti.
Oct 29, 2022	The Seventy-Sixth Session	The people of the forest go their different ways. The West Haven militia returns to the Yuan-Ti stronghold, to attack it, and the Party follows. But we are betrayed by the West Haven captain, leaving Jerry alone and all else captured or dying.
Oct 15, 2022	The Seventy-Fifth Session	A Potion of Diminuation lets us carry the tree out of the Yuan-Ti stronghold, and we successfully replant the Lady of the Forest on her throne. Percival becomes her Protector, and we return to the Touched village. Jerry cures Majorie.
Oct 1, 2022	The Sevnty-Fourth Session	We slay a great many Yuan-Ti, but not their self-deifying leader. The prophet, Sev, leads us to a fungal grove where the Mother of the Forest sleeps, and we try to wake her, to no avail, It's time to contact Bugfood!
Sep 17, 2022	The Seventy-Third Session	We discover a batch of prisoners in the temple, free them, and arm them. Then we clean up after some guards, before discovering the biggest baddie yet in the room: A Yuan-Ti Abomination.
Sep 3, 2022	The Seventy-Second Session	Dungeon crawling time! We hack and slash our way through the tunnels beneath the Yuan-ti ziggurat.
Aug 20, 2022	The Seventy-First Session	The Party reconnoiters the Yuan-ti city, then waits for an opportune moment to sneak in. Under heavy rain, we enter the city, and blast our way into the temple, killing guards with overpowered magic, and finally we come to the open stone door. Inside is a dark room, and noises.
Jul 23, 2022	The Seventieth Session	Commissioned by the Ancient Elm, the Party goes to find the Mother of the Forest, who may have been kidnapped by the Yuan-Ti. We find a Yuan-Ti compound in the forest, and Salris reconnoiters it.
Jun 11, 2022	The Sixty-Eighth Session	Percival emerges from a short coma determined to help the Forest. We persuade him to join us on our quest to rid the forest of corruption, permanently. To the northwest we travel, and get caught in a series of painful encounters. Jerry almost dies.
May 28, 2022	The Sixty-Seventh Session	Heading to the Jimenju tree to find out more about how to become TOuched be the Forest, we encounter Percival. He's pursued by one of the Eyes of the Forest, which we kill. Salris' new patron expresses itself in his casting. Then the half-Elf Werebear Fernard leads us to the Jimenju tree, which is very very creepy.
May 14, 2022	The Sixty-Sixth Session	The Party continues snooping upon Majorie's Tribe, and eventually confronts her. We are introduced to the tribe, and the Speaker, and learn of the mysteries of the forest. The tribe are eating poison all the time, but aren't harmed because they're Touched By The Forest. They do this to prevent the spread of the forest's corruption, when the Assassin killed the mother of the forest, leaving behind the Ancient Elm and the Assassin's Tears.
Apr 30, 2022	The Sixty-Fifth Session	A.R.N. pays the Party with a quick teleport to the Kulahaar Wilds, where Majorie was last seen in a scrying painting. There, we cross some weird forests to snoop on Majorie's Tribe. They're doing weird things, staring at the sky all night, with glowing eyes.
Apr 16, 2022	The Sixty-Fourth Session	With the artist A.R.N. saved, the Party returns to The Hunter's Table to rest. Vurguron finds a friend of his father, who challenges Vurguron to a fight so that he may hand over a legendary shield to Vurguron. The Party restocks on potions, and then returns to A.R.N. to get paid. A.R.N. does some scrying, and we see our first image of Majorie in a long time.
Apr 2, 2022	The Sixty-Third Session	The Party explores more of ARN's mansion, and wins a poetry slam battle. Then we find ARN, and the statue that ARN is carving. The Party nearly dies in the process.
Mar 19, 2022	The Sixty-Second Session	We begin to explore the second floor of A.R.N.'s mansion, and discover the basement accidentally. With the assistance of a painting, we manage not to die as we make our way through the courtyard into another section of the basement, and from there, into the kitchen. There's more tunnels left to explore, however, and we're still in pretty bad shape.
Feb 19, 2022	The Sixty-First Session	Majorie is alive and with her tribe, so the Party decides to go do some social networking by rescuing A.R.N. The first few rooms of the mansion of A.R.N. nearly kill us.
Feb 5, 2022	The Sixtieth Session	The Party arrives in Setton, and visits a hunters' guild. The Party learns of a quest to to save an artist, missing in a mansion. Ryltar makes friends with the Half-Orc scroll-scribe Guleva. Salris changes patrons. Jerry ponders our next steps.
Jan 22, 2022	The Fifty-Ninth Session	The Tall Missionary takes the Noble Daughter hostage, and dies an innocent at Ryltar's wand. The murderer is revealed as a Rakshasa, which had disguised itself as the Noble Husband. The sea monster disappears, but a curse lingers over the ship until it is removed. The ship is repaird and sails on. The Party offers custodianship of the Regular Inn to the ship's boy, Xander.
Jan 8, 2022	The Fifty-Eighth Session	We interrogate nine captives about the death of the carpenter's mate, Xaban, but get no useful answers. A baby manticore is discovered in an unmarked crate in the hold, and exonerated of the murder. Its owners, two crewmembers, are chastised. An aquatic beast approaches the ship, and the murderer is revealed.
Dec 11, 2021	The Fifty-Seventh Session	The Cumberlite Isles hide a bloody secret, beneath their verdant hills. We nope the fuck out of there, but not after first going on a drunken bender. The ship's complement discovers a thief onboard, and then a saboteur-slash-murderer.
Nov 13, 2021	The Fifty-Sixth Session	Salris catches up with his brother, Seamus. Seamus now captains his own ship, cursed to resurrect anyone who dies on board. The Party skedaddle, boarding passage to the Cumberlite Isles, and defeat a Sea Dragon along the way.
Oct 16, 2021	The Fifty-Fifth Session	An energetic encounter with lake trolls on the river to Greyharbor results in four trolls dead and one swimming away. The Party buys supplies for desert travel, and seeks passage on a boat to a new town. Salris finds his brother, and reveals himself to him.
Oct 2, 2021	The Fifty-Fourth Session	The Party talks with an upset Thrai. We mysteriously gain the deed to the Regular Inn in Quadroads. After teleporting to the Woven Council to pick up some potions and say hi to Ren, we fload downriver to Riverbend, and thence to Greyharbor.
Sep 18, 2021	The Fifty-Third Session	The Party is celebrated in Quadroads. Majorie is fine, but in the deserts of the north. Salris decides not to follow through on his latest assassination contract. Ryltar identifies the Far Realm Shard, and attunes to it. The celebrations are attacked by assassins targeting Dirius, and the Party saves her life.
Aug 21, 2021	The Fifty-First Session	We sprint towards Quadroads, interruped only by a midnight battle with Rezzik Brazzik and two bands of assassins. Kerjes is on our tail, as are the Drow. The Drover dies, and Ryltar puts a hit out on Dirius with Rezzik Brazzik. Thrai is aghast.
Aug 7, 2021	The Fiftieth Session	The Party finds Thrai's missing Halfling companion, who is full of spiderlings. He dies. Thrai blows up the cave system, which we escape just barely. We name the ensuing depression as Rogo's Lake, after the Halfling. Percival teleports away, and the the rest of the Party begins the trek back to Quadroads. Among the loot is an ominous note messaging Majorie, Jerry's daughter.
Jul 24, 2021	The Forty-Ninth Session	The Party defeats the Flesh Weaver, and several spiders die as well. We take a long rest inside a Tiny Hut provided by the new bard, Percival, and discover a giant obsidian pumice stone surrounded by corpses.
Jul 10, 2021	The Forty-Eighth Session	The Party ventures into the spiders' caverns. They discover antimagic spiders, phase spiders, swarms of spiders, lair actions, and the dungeon boss: The Flesh Weaver, an Aberration of Drow and spider and tentacles. Much combat happens, downing Jerry and Vurguron, who are both revived.
Jun 26, 2021	The Forty-Seventh Session	Bugfood disappears to take care of Remmy the Squirrel. The Party leaves Quadroads with a send-off from the Ascendants, and with a small party of escorts for the trip. After many days' hike, and a battle through the spiderwebs, the Party enters a cave.
May 29, 2021	The Forty-Sixth Session	We seek out details and possible funders for a mission to kill the source of the spiders. Little did we realize that the Knights of the Summer Court had become renowned for their defense of the West Haven. The Ascendants, rulers of Quadroads, commission the Party to solve the spider menace, and furnish us with 10,000 gold and a Goliath guide named Razorleaf. She lost her entire scouting party to the spiders, but she knows where they come from.
May 15, 2021	The Forty-Fifth Session	Zelrathi elects to remain on the mountain until the eclipse, to stay with the Couatl known as Arye. The World Spire's fear-reading abilities cause the Party some trouble, until we fly off on Bugfood's giant eagles. We return to the mountain's foot, and then Quadroads, and then the Temple of Ioun.
May 1, 2021	The Forty-Fourth Session	Bugfood meets his doppleganger. Arye reappears. The Party tries not to think about pink elephants. And then we find the Gloom Grove.
Apr 17, 2021	The Forty-Third Session	Ryltar is lessened. Salris' backstory is revealed. Zelrathi learns how small his patron really is.And the veil between the planes grows thin.
Apr 3, 2021	The Forty-Second Session	Moon meets Lolth. Jerry meets a Yuan-ti. Ryltar meets Dirius. The climb continues.
Mar 20, 2021	The Forty-First Session	The Party begins to climb the World's Spire. Some leave their names at the bottom of the mountain. We take the right-hand path from the House of the Zenith, and encounter the mad man Samuel, a terrible goat, and Bahamut. The Party survives.
Mar 6, 2021	The Fortieth Session	The Party defeats some new spiders, chats with Eta'el, and departs Leen. In Quadroads the Party meets up with Zelrathi and rediscovers Moon.
Feb 20, 2021	The Thirty-Ninth Session	The Party goes shopping, and then teleports to Wint's Lair in the Lost City of Storm's Eye. Wint's Lair has been ransacked, so we head north. Leen is covered in webs, and the gang is trapped in a forge's chimney by spiders.
Feb 6, 2021	The Thirty-Eighth Session	The Party pushes through to the Woven Council, and gains access to Ren's personal Teleportation Circle. Ren explains the political problems of the Woven Council. Ryltar connects recent events to a prophecy.
Jan 23, 2021	The Thirty-Seventh Session	The Party travels from Sky Diamond Academy to the Great Banyo Tree, where they traverse an enchanted hedgerow maze, kill many monsters, and discover Kerjes' power. New quest: trap Eta'el.
Jan 9, 2021	The Thirty-Sixth Session	The Mummy Lord is bluffed, and we escape to Sky Diamond Academy. We tell the Deans about the Mummy, of the aberration spiders, of Moon's betrayal, of the Drow expedition to the Underdark. Moon is summoned to Sky Diamond Academy, and receives her sentance. We prepare for the expedition to Kerjes' Tree.
Nov 28, 2020	The Thirty-Fifth Session	Several days' travel later, we are woken in the night by the distant sounds of cultists sacrificing bodies to a Tree-mother. In the ensuing fight, Bugfood plants a bean. The cultists outclass us, though we manage to kill the reincarnated Jester, and the fight is ended by the bean's sprouting into a mummy's pyramid.
Nov 14, 2020	The Thirty-Fourth Session	We leave Zelrathi and Moon behind at the Temple of Ioun in Quadroads. Viroth Aiodon, a Blood Hunter, joins the Party. A night in a spiderwebbed village reveals giant spiders full of pink flesh and strange crystals.
Oct 17, 2020	The Thirty-Third Session	Having done such a good job defending Leen, we new escort its refugess to Quadroads, dragging a bound and gagged Moon along with us. We fight some trapdoor spiders and save the day. Zelrathi introduces us to the charming, crowded, con-artist-packed city of Quadroads.
Oct 3, 2020	The Thirty-Second Session	We prepare to leave Leen, but the spiders attack. And then we get a quest from a Firbolg, to save a magic Sky Staff from the home of a spidery woman named Kerjes who lives under a tree.
Sep 5, 2020	The Thirtieth Session	We discuss what to do next, and send a message to Guy with updates. Then we set off for Quadroads, in search of magical ingredients.
Aug 22, 2020	The Twenty-Ninth Session	We find ourselves on the shore of a giant lake, trade with the locals, and make our way to Malcolm's Wharf, where Rezzik Brazzik reappears.

May 30, 2020	The Twenty-Fifth Session	After a quick and painful battle with a giant shark, we enter the Lost City of Storm's Eye and find a pair of mysterious twins. The temple at the peak of the city is frozen solid and full of sleeping dwarves and stabby ice dwarves. The expedition's head Drow have disappeared into the city.

Nov 2, 2019	The Fourteenth Session	The Party's weregild is forgiven, and the party makes bank. Minor shopping ensues. The Party departs West Haven for Sky Diamond Academy, on horses, and travels two nights.
Oct 5, 2019	The Thirteenth Session	The Party captures Kalina, kills an ice dragon, finds the elemental egg, reunites its halves, saves the frozen arena, and takes a well-deserved long rest. The Party reaches Level 5, and gains many new magical items.
Sep 21, 2019	The Twelfth Session	The arena is frozen over, and the VIPs are missing. The Party aids in the defense of the city by battling a number of goblins, and encounters a Jester. Thalia's last wishes equip Salris with a quest to imbue an elemental egg with her ashes. The Party enters an icy plane in search of the perpetrator Kalia and the egg she used.

Jun 15, 2019	The Eighth Session	The gang spend a night in jail and receive visits from a number of people, including a mysterious figure that grants magical feathers. The trial is held; many things are learned, and the group is convicted. The Party must pay a heavy cost.
Jun 1, 2019	The Seventh Session	The party recaptures the West Haven Beastmaster's ogre and kuthrik, and spends a night at the inn owned by Jerry's former CO. With guards on the lookout for the Party, can they clear their names before being thrown in jail? No.
